"Adrian Garcia" is the Sheriff of Harris County, Texas. Garcia spent 23 years with the Houston Police Department, before becoming a city councilman. Garcia served six years as a Houston City Councilman, eventually becoming Mayor Pro-Tempore under former Mayor Bill White (Texas politician)/Bill White. In 2008, Garcia defeated 12-year incumbent Tommy Thomas to become Sheriff of Harris County. Garcia is considered a potential future Congressional candidate.
