"Aaron Schatz" is the creator of Football Outsiders and one of the main contributors to Football Outsiders Almanac, published yearly since 2005 (most recent version is 2013). He graduated from Brown University.

He currently writes a regular column on ESPN.com about the NFL, using the statistical systems developed in Football Outsiders.
